        Two things I need to remind myself that non drinking will bring back to my life a lot more.

        Drinking is depressing and causes more depression. I think I am starting to see that slowly the more I refrain and go AF. I need to realize that it is OK to not drink during joyful times and NOT drink during happy times. Those times will still be happy regardless if I have drink in my hand or not. It is when I have too many drinks that those times can turn from happy to the not so happy!!!

                Great thread...love to hear everyone's ideas! I tried a couple of other names with "change" in them but they were taken. All I know is it's time to change (been here a few weeks now) and that all I can committ to is "beginning" to change...thus the name.

                  Mine was for my soul that felt very lost when i first came here, ironically it isnt how i feel now at all, its funny how quickly things can seem to change?

                    My screen name the first time was KBCE - my initials and the first initials of my kids.

                    CAPA is because I moved from CA to PA years ago. I couldn't think of a better one!
