A new beginning

HI there,
I'm new as well (about a week) and I slipped up after 4 days but I i have scraped myself back up onto that rattly old wagon and am clinging to it.

Today's a new day and you deserve to feel good about yourself for your accomplishments, despite a slip up.

Good luck talking with your wife it's commendable to open up to others, and I find it works well, as your friends and family will keep you accountable to your promises.

A new beginning

oh mica, I wish you could take a nice walk with me. I live in a lovely high desert valley. Mountain peaks covered with snow. Great canal walk just a few blocks from my house.
My pup is quiet so I have all these pictures of a beautiful Heron -really so blue. I should just be so grateful.
Human companion would be really nice also. I don't know if I really put people off, or my shame makes me wierd.
I have physical limitations that aren't easy to see. I can no longer get close to the physical work, and mountain play I did in the past.

My guy says I have a chip on my shoulder. That I can't admit I'm limited so I project a defensive wall.

To hear that sentiment echoed (shame) from very nice folks on here, makes me think I might be a pretty good person too.:l
