    Hi guys im jumping on here for a wkend af binge! Im always ashamed of my recyling tub being overflowing by monday i hide the bottles and take them to the tip when i get a chance! so good luck every one xx

      Hi All...
      I am starting my 11th day AF and facing the holiday weekend. Last night I had my first desire to have a beer/some wine and surfed the cravings. They passed and I stayed on track. Thank goodness for lemons and water!
      I am feeling so much better physically without the alcohol. My body is hydrated from all the water I am drinking....my skin is clearer...my eyes brighter. My sleep is still being disturbed by hot flashes that wake me up and I am simply dealing with that. I know it will pass....my body is cleansing itself. I am on natural hormone cream in case it is hormones however I think it is more alcohol related. I am still off the coffee, too, and sticking to a clean diet for the most part. I do treat myself to small amounts of vanilla ice cream at night if I want it. ~smile~ Many nights I simply prefer to eat fruit.
      This site continues to inspire me greatly. Thanks so much for all the amazing info and support I find here! Ya'll are the best! I am thrilled to be alcohol free for this long and looking forward to MORE!

          Hi Everyone! I am on day 7 AF and feel ok except for a bit of dizziness. Don't know what that is about. Not many cravings, but sooooo moody! Damn alcohol. Guess you don't ralize how much you actual were drinking till your body freaks out! I am ready for a busy AF weekend - really need to watch the triggers. Two parties, bbqs etc. I told my husband I am the designated driver all weekend so I know I will not drink when I go anywhere. I never drink even one sip if I need to drive - even at my worst I abided by that rule. Weird! Anyway, great weekend to you all and I will most likely be on here a few times this weekend!

            I did really well last weekend with the help of all of you on this thread, so hopefully I can do it again this weekend. I think it will be a bit harder this time because it's raining really heavily and I have a back problem that limits my movements, so it's a bit of a challenge to keep busy and take my mind off things. I'm armed with a good book and dvd's and some recipes I want to try, but they're all things that I normally accompany with a glass of wine or three.

            I'll pop back in later to see how you're all going. Good luck and I hope you all enjoy your lovely AF weekend.

                Hi weekenders, I am on my third weekend its Saturday now and I had my first real crvings last night that seemed to last for hours I went into chat before I knew it was 1030 and the cravings had gone, it was a great help (& funny) going in there and chatting to some of the other MWO memebrs.

                  hi everyone, in for a second weekend, it is suposed to be a good one so lots of gardening and car washing hope i don't think of a beer. might go and buy some refreshing drinks lemonade and buy some lemons to put in it.

                  12th day for me too, i too have had some urges last night so came on chat it helped alot then made a cup of tea and went to bed.

                    Hi guys, weekend number two for me also. Sat morning here and got a few cravings last night which I probably expected seeing as friday was always the start of heavier drinking for me but came through it ok. This place really is a Godsend. Planning on keeping very busy for the rest of the weekend and that should help.

                        Hi everyone, It is so nice to hear all of you sounding so happy, well I am comming to the end of Day 13 A/f and really it cant be over quick enough, I had a few really bad urges today and I very nearly caved in, but then I thought of you guys doing so well and I just knew that I could'nt let you all down including myself there is no way this is going to beat me, I really want to go the whole 30 days and tomorrow I will be half way through. Keep up the good work everyone you are all doing so well lets make sure we all stick together this weekend.

                          Way to go Ronnie! Well done on beating back those urges and keeping the side up. Sat evening here just having a quiet night in with the family and some easy watching tv. Feeling a lot better than last night, trust you will too tomorrow. 24 hours away from two weeks, for me I really didnt think it was possible.

                            hi, me too ronnie today was bloody awful, found myself very irratable and snappy, wanted a beer something to do with the weather and all the blooming gardening, lol did not cave in, again thought of you all and that you are doing so well so didn't want to let the side down, the cravings finally gone but they were for a few hours. speak tomorrow x

                              Hi everyone, well its Sunday afternoon and I have taken the boys to soccer (3 matches) then I had to go to a kids birthday party!!! I can still hear screaming kids in my ears!!!! my god I did'nt think kids could be so bloody loud.
                              Anyway I am having a much better day today, the sun is shinning at last, I have only had one very small urge today so thats fine and yes I have reached 2 weeks, only another 2 to go WHOPPEE.
                              I must admit if it was'nt for you guys I would of caved for sure, so a very big THANK YOU to all of you, I hope you all have a fantistic Sunday.

                                Morning all just starting out on sunday morning in england it is gorgeous ouside planning on doing the gardening today its looking a bit like a jungle at the moment!

                                Wanted to say well done to Macca sounds like you have been battling the beast with some force this weekend and you have stuck with it, stay strong the cravings do subside!
