    Food games

Ok, it's me again. It's 1:00 and I made it this far...pathetic. So with none in the house, now what? Usually this is the time of the day when I stop eating because there is not enough room for food with the case I am about to make love to. So I had this HUGE sandwhich so I would feel too full to drink. Well, I don't feel like a beer, but I feel like a cow now. I put a large jalapeno on it for extra torture.

Did anyone find their eating habits change and if so is it temporary?

    Congrats colbe!

Yes, I have been eating everything and anything.. mostly sugary stuff ;(. But I started running, so I don't feel so bad about eating more.

    Drink lots of water!

I ate lots of highly seasoned foods. That seemed to help. I stuffed my face with EVERYTHING and anything ,,,,,,,,,,,,,but alcohol. You are doing good,,,,,,,,just keep on eating. How about some gourmet belly beans. I found them to be a fun food in the early days. they come in all kinds of flavors.even PINA COLATA ............LOL...non alcoholic of course !!!

yea, as much as I ate for lunch, I could still go for a chocolatte bar right about now. Or some peanut butter. Or a chocolate bar with peanut butter on it, with some ice cream, and hot sauce and cherries and...

          Welcome, Colbe!

With all of the drinking and then stopping; your blood sugars drop and are all erratic for sometime. Eating will help stabilize your blood sugars and will reduce your cravings. Many people crave sweets when coming off of the alcohol; but if you could eat healthy foods and avoid sugars, your cravings will be lessened.

Don't worry about eating. You are at least getting vitamins and substance from food instead of the empty calories of alcohol.

          Keep on reading and posting!

ps. I use to take a teaspoon of peanut butter when I was craving and it helped me immensely. Yes, I ate it right off the spoon!
