    Yep ronnie, it's 30 days for some here today! Congrats to you! :goodjob:

    Lav, how many days has it been for you now? I can't claim 30 for this month, due to my slips. However, I am in for August! I feel very determined about it.

    darkie, I didn't know. You have a great reason to stay motivated! Stick with us, we'll get each other through! I hope you have forgiven yourself. It is important to keep the memory alive enough to keep from repeating the mistake, but it doesn't help sobriety to be down on yourself.

    sooty, You sound so much like I was when I first came on MWO. Many of us don't get it right on the first try. Lots of us start over repeatedly. The trick is to never give up. You WILL reach your goals.

    Pnut, good luck to you! I hope everthing goes well. You'll have to let me know! You've been preparing for this for a very long time. You'll do great! As for prayer, I used to think it was pointless, but I don't anymore. Prayer is very positive. It can only help.

    Today I have nothing but a day of leisure planned. Even though I am back at work, I don't have to go more than 2 and 1/2 days a week for the next 3 weeks. My full schedule resumes at the end of August.

      Good morning Jammers!

      Reporting in from hot, humid S.E.PA - going to 90 today, ugh! The evening storms don't cool things off a bit.

      Pnut, wishing you luck in your race today, hope you're feeling up to it!

      Darkie, you certainly have suffered a very dark, low moment in your life. Let it serve as a lesson well learned but move on, please. No more beating yourself up about the past. Move on with your head held high and a positive attitude

      I wish determination and a positive attitude as well to Chicken & Sooty. You know you two can do it! If you need an extra dose, just let me know, OK?

      Ronnie, congrats on 30 days, you rock Keep it going, you'll love it!!

      Dill, I haven't counted my days for a while - it's 126 today! Wow, sounds like a lot, doesn't it? All I know is I feel like an entirely different person now and that's a good thing. So much happier, healthier (despite my recent weight gain), relaxed & worry free. I'm equally amazed that I am 72 days smoke free today

        Hi jammers, good to see you all here. I'm very late logging on today owing to being busy with family commitments (well mainly giving lifts to kids ....) anyway had a good AF day yesterday, am determined to get through July and looking forward to the challenge of August.
        I really want to be an all star!!
        Hope everyone is doing well.

              Hi Jammers!

              Today is July 31, the last day of the Jamboree. I'm feeling really strong and want to keep going. Whoever gets here first on Aug. 1st, please feel free to start the August All-Stars, Week 1 thread! We're breaking it into 'weeks' so it seems more 'do-able' to newbies. And some 'oldies', too!

              Sooty, you are doing great getting back on the wagon! I'm so happy to have your company on this journey!

              Opal, ronnie, Lav, and anyone else who made the complete 31 days: :wd:Congratulations!:wd: Treat yourself with some ice cream! You rock!!!

                Hi to Dill, Opal & Ronnie. Glad to know you ladies are still rockin.

                Dill, thanks for the quote. I am one of those people who need that reminder daily! I tend to be a worrier, often about things I cannot change. Intellectually I know that behavior is a true waste of time. It really is just another bad habit that I needs work!

                I'm in the midst of preparing for another weekend with the 'Insanity Twins' - my son's Golden Retrievers. Some of you may remember my broken toe incident the last time they stayed here with me, OUCH! In addition to my new steel toed shoes (just kidding) I'm planning to keep them separated as much as possible. They seem to feed off of each other's energy and just spiral out of control.............
                Most importantly, they need to learn that I'M in charge around here and if they don't toe the line there's going to be some serious consequences, ha ha.

                I'm going to be super busy this weekend but I'm wishing all of you peace & happiness.

                  hi all.looking forward to the next sober month,and keeping in touch with you all.its been a enlightening time for me .thank you all for your help.its good not to feel alone, lavender thank you for your kindness.i will try to rember youe words of wisdom when i feel a little down x
