Thanks Opal, 25 days is great! Thanks to you and MWO.
My former psychologist was really down on me when I mentioned
my MYO friends and community. Best of luck to you.:l

Moofarmer, very well done on the 41 days - be proud! If it's not a current psychologist, they can't really know what a difference MWO makes as they don't see you on a weekly basis. I'm in counselling, and my counsellor has commented many times on the positive changes she's seen in me since I joined MWO and went AF. I agree!!

Hello Jammers! You have a lot of positive energy going on this thread! I've been abstaining for a while but ran into some wobbles last week and thought I should step things up a notch. Hope you don't mind me jamming along as I'll definitely be AF in July.

Looking forward to getting to know you all better.

Peanut hope you'll feel better very soon. Don't know what antibiotics you're on but I believe that alcohol can negate the effects of some of them or even make the taker ill - so please take advantage of the time to have a Al holiday and get yourself completely well again.
Congrats everyone - the collective determination is coming off the screen - the positivity is so strong.
        See you all tomorrow

              Hi gang,
Everyone sounds great today!!! Thanks for your well wishes, Dill, Sooty and Lavande and everybody else - I am on the mend. Thank goodness for MacroBID!!! I even managed a 10mile walk/run at 4pm today - it started raining when we started and finished raining when we finished. Aiy!!!!!!! But what fun, once you are soaked through, running through muddy puddles in the bush trails. We were hooting and hollering, but boy it was hard to warm up when I got home! Must watch out I don't make myself sick!

              Welcome to the jamm, Panima
Good going Moofarmer (do you own a dairy, par chance??) and Opal and those great long stretches. Opal - almost at 30 days and it's party time. Moo - did you celebrate with icecream on your 30 days???It's the best way to go!!! (Besides buying a new dress - but I don't think that would be your thing! ha!)

OK - off to do something constructive, like pack my daughter's and her friends' stuff up to send off on the greyhound bus!!!! Hmph.....

Ronnie - cross posted. You are already on thursday though and it is only 8pm wednesday here in the middle of Canada. I actually had a phone call from a friend in New Zealand this afternoon. I'm going to have to sit down and figure out what time it must have been at his place, since it was 3pm at mine!!!! Such a mind boggling thing, the whole date-line thing!!!!

Opal, thanks for that link! It's in my favorites now, too.

Hi everyone. It's great to have so many positive souls on the thread! Welcome to Moo and Pamina. :welcome:
It's raining here this morning and I am glad. We haven't seen enough rain here lately.
This afternoon we plan on going to the matinee of the new Star Trek film! That should be fun. And since I will be af, I shall remember what I watch!:H

Glad you're feeling better, Pnut! Have a great day everyone!

                      Hi Jammers,

Dill - Star Trek - I'm jealous. We are located in such a remote corner of the state (PA) that we have to travel to a neighboring state (DE) to see a movie. Guess you know that doesn't happen often. Actually, I can't even remember the last movie I saw........ Enjoy your afternoon, by all means :

Opal, we travelled to Ireland 6 years ago, had a wonderful time. And, I actually know what time it is there
Pnut, glad to hear you are on the mend. I've had my share of UTIs, not fun!
Ronnie, glad you're hanging in with us, stay strong!
Welcome to the July Jammers Moo & Pamina

Have a great AF day everyone!

                          Hi Jammers,

Thanks for the warm welcomes! It's sunny over here for a change, and all is good.

I'm going to do some meal planning and cooking today so I can do whatever strikes my fancy over the weekend. Was the Star Trek movie any good? There's an idea, I haven't been to the cinema in ages.

Well done on the AF time, everybody. Have a great Friday!

                            Good Afternoon Jammers!

Ronnie, Opal and Pamina - you all sound great. It's amazing what these AF days can do for you, isn't it? When I think back to how I was feeling back in February & early March.....I just shudder!!!! So glad that I am in the place I am now

Dill, how was that Star Trek movie yesterday? You'll have to tell me all about it because I'll probably never get to a theater to see it myself. We are socially pathetic around here, ha ha.

Don't have any firm plans for the weekend yet, just going to play it by ear, see what happens.
I wish you all peace, happiness and AF Bliss
                            AF since 03/26/09

Hey Jammers, I really enjoyed the Star Trek movie! I had no idea going in what the movie was about. It turns out it was about the crew when they were kids, then at Star Fleet academy and then on the Enterprise' maiden voyage. I think the cast of characters were perfect and they pulled it off totally! Of course, there is a space adventure and time gets mess up and etc., etc.... If you like Star Trek, you will like this film!

I will be travelling to southern Ohio to visit family this weekend. It should be a breeze to stay AF as drink is not a big part of this side of the family (husbands side). Computer access, however will be out of the question.

I hope you all have a great weekend!
