    The Weekend Party Thread, fri 10th - Sun 12th July

    Well hello my fellow dancer's
    I hope you all have rested your feet and are ready to bop the weekend away
    I went out and bought a pair of new shoes just for this weekend, I just hope I dont get any blisters.......

    I hope everyone can join me on this thread.
    This thread is for people who would like to be A/F all weekend, you will get lots of support here as well as a chance to show off your dance moves :H

    I quite enjoyed the pole dancing last weekend, so I might give that another go, I have been practising some moves, but its not the same with a lamp post, plus I kept getting funny looks from the people in my street......

    Well this party has officially started...................................

      Do you know Liath, I can now spin all the way around the pole.....its great you go really fast......

        If only you didn't live half way across the world from me! Here in the states there is actually a new craze. Poll dancing classes as a form of exercise! Not joking. I read about it in the New York Times. Bored housewives in NYC are all about it! You better hope I don't sign up or you are really going to be in trouble!!

          We could always practise by video, you never know we could be on you tube :H

          Zen, im waiting for the fellas to make up thier own routine... whats that film where the fellas done a strip dance and put thier hats infront of thier "bits"......

            It's still Thursday here, but I'm starting the weekend early by going to see Carrie Fisher's "Wishful Drinking." I wanted to see the show last year, but my nightly vino habit wouldn't let me stay up late enough to watch it -- sad, but true.

              Lilbit that looks like a really good show, I hope you have a great time. We can so so much more now, that we are A/F cant we, I cant believe how much I have missed out on things while I was drinking.
              My house and family seem alot more happier now, even my hubby!!!! now that I am A/F and I am only on Day 10, so it can only get better from here..

                        I'm in people - day 8 here - abstinence goal, no moderating ... only 3 days drinking out of past 41 so heading in the right direction ...
                        NSW school holidays about to start ... looking forward to it and not, all at once!

                            Kayla - well done on 8 days, I never looked forward to the school hols. but now I have decided to go A/F, I am loving them, my boys are on school hols now, only for 2 weeks and they have 1 week left and its been great.
