If I can put in my 2 cents. I have realized now that drinking wine actually caused my sleep problems. Every single night I would wake up between midnight and 2 a.m. and could not get back to sleep. Tossing and turning...my husband snoring didn't help but it was the alcohol that made me wake up. I do not think that you can get really true sleep going to bed with alcohol in your system. And as far as changing drinks to something you don't like? Been there too....eventually it never matters what you drink..you just become a slave to alcohol.. I am only approaching day 3 but the past 2 nights sleep have been wonderful. Sleep is so important.....in fact to me, it's become as important as breathing. I wish you good luck in your search for your peace.
