I had a little craving yesterday. It was a warm summer day, just finished 3 hours of yard work, went out to dinner and gave an ice cold pint more than a second glance.
But you know, what I'm finding different this time around is that before I cave in to the mighty AL, I'm THINKING ABOUT THE CONSEQUENCES, BOTH SHORT AND LONG TERM: the hangovers, the looking-like-an-ass, the detriment to my health, the erosion of myself as a role model to my son, the loss of family and friends...
And in that light, the decision is so much easier! I chose iced-tea with lemon instead.
