    Just discovered MYO

    Hi all,
    As the title says, I've just discovered MYO, it's a great & positive site.
    Have struggled with alcohol for more years than I care to remember,
    spent 6 weeks in rebab over xmas, 12 weeks off drink, and now I'm back
    nearly as bad as ever. Going to give this a shot, as I've nothing to lose.
    Keep up all the good work, it's a real inspiration to read your posts.:new:

      Welcome Bree......but were MWO ......not MYO.......that's what I put on my sandwich today ! ha! Glad to have you here...lot's of good advice from old timers that know what's going on ! ( I'm a bit of a wise ass here....don't mind me ! Ha! IAD )

          I new to MWO also.
          15 years with alcohol problems, 3 days AF this time.
          You've come to a warm, loving place. The Newbies Nest is very welcoming.

              Whats bree and a warm welcome to a wonderful site. We all in the same boat and today is my second day. I tell what, today i managed not to drink at all and i'm so happy, i'm so much excited like i'm going on a date with my fantasy. Together we can make it and i also got a feeling that its all in the mind, meaning like if we really wanna quit, we can quit, so lets quit guyz.

                          Welcome ... You've found an awesome place. As many have said - read as much as you can on the different boards, and post often .. It really helped me to become part of the community while I learned some strategies and tried some new things .... and, when I got my head around it, I finally kicked an all-day drinking habit that I was afraid I'd never be able to kick. You can do it too. I know you can!
