Thank you!
I'm now 6 days AF. 2 weeks ago I never would have believed I could do it. I think this is my longest AF stretch in 12 years! It was so scary and hard to make the commitment to stop . . . but since I have, I've felt so good. And I have all of you here to thank! :thanks: Although I'm pretty new here and don't know all the regulars yet, I'm finding so much inspiration and encouragement. I just feel very grateful and blessed. Finding this site and reading it regularly has given me the courage to begin and the confidence that I can succeed. I know I'm such a beginner at this, but for the first time in many years, I'm feeling hopeful about my future. So many thanks to all of you!Tags: None

Thank you!
Hi Warrior,,I remember your first post and I commented on it. So glad you have started out so well. I'm not far ahead of you,,,going on two weeks now, but it does feel great doesn't it? Doctor told me today if I don't quite drinking I'll be dead in five years. I'm only 42 so that is NOT an option. Talk about a wake up call. I'm glad I have two weeks under my belt and I feel confident with the support of so many great people here that I can maintain what I have started and live a long healthy life for me and my kids. We can do it together!!! Thanks for your post..Every day is not 100%, however, it is 100% better than my best day of drinking..

Until one is committed there is always hesitant thoughts.
I know enough to know that I don't know enough.
