hi i have just bumbled into this site

and thank god!!

i am fed up to the back teeth of going to bed every night drunk as a skunk

drinking 2 or 3 bottles of wine between my wife and i

and it's not her fault but mine.

i need to get my life in order

well now i have posted perhaps i can start to make changes

Well its your lucky day that you happened upon this site as there are a heap of really interesting discussions and an endless supply of support from those who know what it is all about.

I was in a very similar place to you except I was tackling the 2-3 bottles of wine by myself so I know all too well that "fed up to the back teeth" feeling! I think we all do!

What I am trying to say is that you are not alone and I urge you to stick around and read and post here as often as you can.

I found this place yesterday. LIke you I am sick to the back teeth and unfortunely last night I "tested" myself yet again.

But..today is a new day and today I will not drink alcohol. Even if i stay on this forum the whole day, I will.

Just had a heart to heart with hubby, he wants to moderate, I want to stop. What does your wife want? Have you discussed it with her?
