    First time here!

    HI guys..first time here. I have been battling with addiction for 10 years now. Started 25mg topamax saturday and 5mg 2x daily baclofem. Have been reading some amazing stuff and hoping like hell it works....look forward to chatting to you all

    Hi Mouse and welcome to MWO. You have found a great place here full of people who have all struggled with AL and who will offer you support, advice and help unconditionally. May I suggest you download the book and read it. I found it a good help when starting out and it helped me decide on a plan.

                  As a very old timer here, I wish you the best of luck. I am curious, since I have never heard of taking topa and baclo at the same time. I have taken topa for years with great success. But to be honest, I'm not sure if they should be taken at the same time. Did you consult a physician on this, or at least pm RJ and ask about this? I am a bit concerned. I'm not sure they should be taken simultaneously. I would check that out and choose one or the other. They are both strong medications. Please at least pm RJ about advice on this.

                  But it is great to see you here. KTAB is right. Download RJ's book and read it. It is great. It gives you lots of guidance. You are among friends here. You can do this. Nice to meet you.
