We left there in 1998 but my daughter still keeps in touch with friends there. One of them even visits her in California. Small, small world!

That's for sure! I've lived in Barrhaven since 1990. Almost 20 years.....love it there. it sure has grown since you left though!

Tawny - Glad to hear you have a plan, and I hope it goes well! That's cool about your son's commercial, hope that works out as well! When you talked about "casting", I thought it was something the dentist did! Shows what I know! :H

LTG and Lynnie -That's weird you guys used to live so close to each other! Strange how paths can cross and we don't even know it sometimes.

I'm not on Facebook (though interestingly just last week a friend was telling me I should be because you could find all these people from way back when). I guess you are, Lynnie? Would you recommend it and why? I'm kind of ignorant technologically (just downright medieval sometimes).

I was cold this morning! It was 68 in the house this morning! I know you Canadians and Yankees are laughing now! Our blood's too thin since we're used to 30 degrees hotter!
The first time it hits the 50s we freeze our asses off!
