I'm doing pretty good so far, but it's still early!!! I am praying I have enough Bac until my order comes in.....please!!!!!

Busy day of tidying and laundry before an 8hr shift. We have a HUGE sale on and it gets a little crazy for it, so the time will pass quickly.

Reading Dr. Olivier Ameisen's book, The End of My Addiction...very interesting read. Wow, I can say I am not as bad as he was, but I am SO hopeful for the same results he had via Baclofen. I feel great taking it. When I am not drinking, I am not white knuckling, and I have actually turned down AL. I am waiting for the feeling of indifference. The feeling of 'normal' drinking!

Hey Christy! You sound great :h I am happy the bac is working for you! I tried campral last year and it worked well for me until I lost my apetite on it. I want to use it again if I can find a supp to increase apetite. You working through the weekend? Thanksgiving coming soon for you?

I would love for something to suppress my appetite!!! I need to lose a good 35lbs!!!!

Yes, Thanksgiving is creeping up and that means I have a dinner to make for my mom and her husband and my outlaws!!! Urrgggg! It is in 2 weeks on Saturday, the dinner. OMG!

Yes, I am working through the weekend, until Oct 1st. Unless my other job schedules me....we will have to see.

I am well, thanks. Our Thanksgiving here is not until November. I have time to plan for it. Last year was nice and simple - just Hanna, husbo, and myself. Hanna and I cooked. It was fun :h. I will take 15 of those pounds from you :wings:

Yes, Savon! You are so right! I should be thankful!!!!! At this point I don't have any desire to drink, however, I am sure if someone put a beer in front of me, I would drink it. I don't think I wlould drink many, but one for sure. This is why I need to move on up a bit on my Bac. Soon, I will not care at all. At least I know, I will not go out of my way to drive to the LCBO or the Beer Store to buy anything. I am beyond that at this point.

Your Thankgiving sounds so laid back and relaxed! Mine is crazy! I have my and my family 5, then my mom and her husband 2, then my mother and father in law 2, my sister in law and her husband 2, and my brother in law and his wife and kids 4, so 15 total, 16 if Jeff's Grannie comes as well. Big dinner, lots of people, small house.......but it's fun....we have a good time. Just a lot to prepare for, and clean up after!!!!

We have to close our trailer that weekend as well!!! Urrgggg!!!! I don't know if I am working! lol!!!!

Whew! Made it thru Day 4. Almost by accident... I was Thinkin about drinkin - then realized I had tutor session in afternoon, so NO GO. Which was good.

3-4 days has usually been my downfall...
