Day 7: loving it
A week ago today I had an ephiphany. 2 months of repeated attempts at moderation have proved that I am incapable of moderating. I do not like the way alcohol makes me feel during or after. I do not like falling asleep when I should be with my children. I researched the DUI laws of my state and convinced myself that one will COMPLETELY ruin my life. Anyway today is day 7. I plan to tackle the entire month of October and keep going.

Day 7: loving it
:goodjob: Gearhead,
I had to google Ambien.
I've been known to take sea sickness tablets to help me sleep ( it does say may cause drowsiness).
Valerian's also a good one and also herbal.
You're doing great.

Day 7: loving it
Gearhead...as one still struggling with the aftereffects of a DUI, I can tell you that I can only WISH WISH WISH that I had one-tenth of the foresight and wisdom that you are now displaying. It really can ruin your life and I wish so much that I had quit BEFORE my DUI and not after, even though the DUI was the wake-up call for me to quit drinking.
Bravo and hang in there. Good job on 7 days.
