        how is it going pompeyman?
        keep checking in here as often as possible. it will help for you to see that you can quit. it will be a lot of work but you know that really the alternative isn't such a great idea.
        i am back to day two AGAIN. ugh. when will i learn? my problem is i loose interest and then forget what kind of a fight i am up against.
        anyhow, it felt good to wake up clear headed this morning.
        i don't feel 'better' yet, i know it takes me about 10 days before i start to feel like a normal human again.
        then i have to not loose focus.
        i'm thinking about buying a laptop so i can check in when i want.
        plus i just lost all my data on my ubs stick.... i wrote three classroom manuals this summer.
        i have a hard copy but i admit i'm getting a little sick of this.
        no, it's not the first time.
        GOOD LUCK TODAY SIR!

          not quite there

          hi everyone ... day one wasnt quite day 1 started a few w/drawrals yesterday while teaching ... not good (ive been very close to disciplinary action and ive alerady lost a previous job as a psychologist due to alcohol) so i decided to have a couple of pints last night to take the edge off for todays work and the same tonight (or even hopefully only one) and then stop friday as i will have two days not in front of students. This is a great site i wish i had found it ages ago. have a good evening :thanks:
          I'm just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round .... really love to watch them roll .... no longer riding on the merry-go-round ...... I just had to let it go

              Good idea tapering down.

              Be kind to yourself this weekend. Treat it as flu and spoil yourself.

              I've just finished seeing a psychologist about some anxiety/mother/daughter issues and I'm always surprised he didn't run out screaming into the 1st bottle he could find after an hour with me.

              Keep coming back.
