How's everyone doing today? I'm still on greenie's challenge at day 4 (i'm thinking I'll make it 5 - anyone else?)

Busy day at work today and then some family time with survivor tonight. I'm looking forward to that!

Who is up for day 4 for greenie's birthday? It's really a pressie for yourself, but I'll pretend it's for me! :H Guess what my pressie is to myself - I'm going to the gym, to the pool - OLAP. One lap at a time. All I have to do today is one lap. And my reward is the jacuzzi. I think that idea is just the BOMB!!! I bet I have a story to tell afterwards


You guys ROCK! I am thrilled with the enthusiasm over this!

Yippee!!! the swimming was great! And there was only one other person in the pool. She had lots of swim paraphenalia and had a lovely flip turn so I figured she'd know how many laps made a mile (I had forgotten). Turns out she is the swim coach for a nearby high school and she gave me some instructional tips. Serendipity once again! :H

Hey everyone...Happy B'day greenie! Sounds like you enjoyed your swim...What else will you be doing to celebrate today?

Uni--we LOVE Survivor. It's such a great show to watch with the kids, and since I have a boy and a girl, it is one of the rare shows on TV that isn't geared to one or the other. We look forward to it every week. And now that I'm SOBER I can even remember what happened...lol

Sorry, I burned the eggs benedict for you guys! Will try to do better next time.

I have to go now and change my BFYZ (big fat yellow zero) on DT ! Unexpectedly, our neighbors stopped by last night and brought 2 big bottles of wine. Good news is, I poured the rest of 2nd bottle in the sink, bad news is, another Day1 for me.

(I was considering going into my "hiding mode" again, I am soooo ashamed. No hiding anymore, I better face the (your) music.)

Today I promise you all BFYZ.

Tonight at the Vista (a shopping, eating area downtown near the river - a hot spot so to speak) there is the holiday open house. Decorations, hors'dovures, beverages, music. Going to knock around there with friends. Maybe dinner.

Good day to all you Odater's,

In honor of the Birthday Girl, plus out of respect to myself, today will be an AF day. I tell myself it's just one day. They are slowly adding up.

I don't think it's just me, but I find the Birthday Girl to be a hoot. Ms. Greeneye's stories make me laugh. Thank you Greenie & may your Birthday be full of smiles. )
