I am an after work drinker, too. Sometimes I will start in the afternoons on the weekend.
My parents also drank every night (but not to excess). I grew up in Wisconsin where it seems like everyone drinks.

I'm a newbie, on day 22 AF. First time in 30 years. It is fabulous!!!! Not easy, but fabulous. MWO is a great place to be. Wonderful support, and the programme is very suitable.

Hy Frances, a big hello from me too. We will get through this, I am on day 3, night 4 and have never felt so positive in my life. I cannot give much advice as I so very new myself but I can wish you the best as this is the best site with the best support and so much to look at... I have been here 3 days and am still not finished exploring everywhere.

This grapefruit juice is a bit sour though.. going to try a water!
