Christmas Greetings to you all!

Lil, thank you for the Christmas greeting! LBH and Red, thank you for sharing your Christmas stories.

We did something very different on our Christmas Eve. Daughter and SIL brought some wine, as I expected they would, but I declined. Lucky for me, it was dry red wine. I don't even like the smell of it. Of course, that wouldn't have stopped me before!:H But this time I just said, "No thanks.". Then, SIL got the notion that he would like to have a Christmas Eve bonfire in the woods. Mr. Dill had already piled up some wood from where he was cutting firewood and he had mentioned it to SIL earlier in the day. Around 8:00pm we bundled into the truck and road through the snowy wood to the valley. It is remote and the only sounds were that of distant traffic and distant barking dogs. We built a roaring fire and sat and talked, laughed and sang Christmas carols. It was a Christmas Eve unlike any other and I am so glad that I was able to be there completely, not just physically.

I am so grateful to all of you for being on this journey with me.

Merry Christmas everyone

I am so happy & so proud of all of us today - what a gift!!!!!!
I woke up today with no hangover & no aches & pains like I did last Christmas, I am so grateful!
My plan for the day is simple, just relaxing by the fire while waiting for my son, DIL & grandson to return this afternoon. Easy dinner tonight, we had a huge one last night!
