This forum is a place where you can go, to talk to others that want to control or quit drinking as much as you do.

Look at the posts in General, My Story, after reading the book to start with. You can download the book by clicking on the blue type above. See the box above where is says '(And by sure to check out RJ's new blog which is here.") Just click on the words "which is here" and that will take you to the page where you can download the book.

I am still a bit new here, but I have found a lot of new friends already.

There are a lot of things to read here, and just browse a bit to see that you are not alone in this. Be well, and its great you took the step of signing up and posting. Read some of the posts, and if you see one where you feel comfortable, then tell us all a bit about your situation, and the others will help you out in the way they know best.

Well, hello there Irish Lady and :welcome:
Let me start by saying that you are certainly not alone when you say you love the taste and feeling of alcohol, and want to cut down on your drinking!!! I can tell you already that you have come "home". Pull up a chair, settle in and make yourself comfortable. Get ready to meet some of the greatest people ever. Take some time to read the book (that will explain the program), visit chat and read the posts (let me know if you need any help navigating the site). There are lots of people who have learned to cut down or stop drinking altogether. I have been here since about June and this program has changed my life.
