    Almost caved in

You are all doing great. Just keep fighting that demon and he will move to the back of your mind and lie low. It isn't easy and he (oops, may be a she), keeps trying to undermine us, but we must hold strong. The beginning it's the toughest, it does get easier and after a while the daily thoughts even subside. Keep it up, you will all feel better.

Keep reading and posting to get the help you need.

Just back from our dinner party and I have to confess that I did drink. But, I was able to have just one! I think a few people were silently wondering what`s up with her...? especially when our host was going around offering cocktails, what would you like, red, white? I`ll just have a soft drink please (a few raised eyebrows) are you sure? yes, I`m sure and my husband, are you OK? I`m fine, I just don`t want a drink right now. So when dinner was served, they poured me a glass and this is where it gets hard when you`re trying to quit. So I sipped it very slowly so they didn`t have to refill it. Would you like some port with desert? No thank you (again raised eyebrows). So I`m here to thank you all once again because you have helped me tonight in making the right decision. For once I got home completely sober...WOW!

Well done Bunny:l If I'd have been in that situation I'd had been okay until the wine was poured for me then I'd probably had crumbled and thought well one or two won't hurt..then had more and more and... you all know the rest...
