I start my 1st day without al... First thing to do is to read your letters again, drink coffee and to listen my relaxation - hypnosis cd which i downloaded..I have goal to be strong and start...

Hi Gyco!!! Yes, in a label of my mediciation is written - not recommended...I asked my therapist about alchohol and medicition..He told me - some glass of wine is ok occasionally..Of course!! But not one bottle of wine almost every day!!! Thank you for advise to be alert!!!

I succeeded to manage my first day without al...At home, had dinner with my daughter and now feel a little bit tired. During the was nervous and anxious with tought to have at least some glass of wine.. All time i was thinking about returning home, opening MWO page and writing that i won one day sober..Tomorrow is the second and i'm afraid to loose control..

Hi Jackie!!! Thanks for words of comfort!!! I hope i'll have good sleep..As many al addicted people i have bad sleeping habbits - to wake up at 4 or 5 a.m. At the moment i'm unemployed and that situation enable my inclination to drink..Of course than i can sleep till noon but wake up unsatisfied, frustrated and with low self-esteem...

Look I'm not sure what to say without offending u. But, your ego is going to possibly kill u. Then I feel so sorry myself. Oh, forgot anger. Will most likely come before or in between. If u base u r self worth on that alone, well.... Sex is an expression of love. Or even hate. If u r banking on u r looks to carry u. Aka men supporting u. Well u will be sadly disappointed.

Why are u depending on a man's opinion of u? Go back to school. Can't your parents who are both DR's help u.?

Trish-how do you know her parents are Dr's? She did not say that-am I missing something? And , Audrey said her mom passed away. I don't think she is being egotisticall-she is reaching out for help! Audrey-great job-on how well you are doing! Keep being strong!
