Welcome dinnysis. :welcome: One thing you will find out if you read and post around here a little bit is that you are NOT alone. All of us with alcohol problems share the same insanities.

I went for YEARS telling myself every day that I wouldn't drink that day, and then I did. I had no idea until I found My Way Out that many many people with AL problems do that.

The good news is that lots of us here have gotten free of AL's grip. And if we can do it, so can you.

        Twitch
I just want to offer you my support here, i know you are going through a lot right now but the fact that you keep going over the mental process everyday of wanting to quit is a positive thing. It sounds like you are truly sickening yourself of alcohol which is what I did. You do need a plan though as many have suggested and make sure you dont have alcohol in the house.

You will crack this Twitch cause I know its what you really want.....

          Hi Twitch,
I couldn't agree more with Lavande, perhaps it's time for a chat with your GP. You sound so depressed.

Make a plan for the day, nothing huge.......bake a cake, write to your son at school, walk to post the letter.

Don't put wine or any AL on your shopping delivery.

Try and talk to your husband about how down you are. He's probably worried too.

Sweetheart, you are letting no one down here.

There's a whole new life waiting for you......... grab it with both hands and enjoy the ride.
