I just came on here today as well and feel the same as you. i posted a comment earlier today and have to say ive been overwhelmed by the responce and the kindness shown by other members. I feel like ive been accepted and not judged and im sure youll find that too. Be good to hear how you get on with getting alcohol out of your life. Good luck!!

hi anyexcuse. so glad you have found us. i too stumbled across this site and im so glad i did. ive now gone 29 days without drinking. never could have done it without the support and advice ive found here.

Like others have said, there really is no format here. Just jump in where you feel comfortable!

I tend to post everyday in the ODAT (One Day At A Time) thread, because it tends to be a close knit group who quickly become friends. When I post in the ODAT thread, I usually do not drink! Many people find that just having a goal of getting through One Day is an easy way to break it up and not get overwhelmed! Also, my time is rather limited (whos isnt?) I wish I could post all over the place, but my time doesnt allow that.

I have been on this website for over 3 years! So have many many others wayy longer than that. We must feel comfortable and happy to be here that long!

We want you here too! There is alot of huge success stores on here, yours can be the next big success story!
