Good for you Meech - analyzing what went wrong so you can shore up your plan and not repeat the mistake.

Here is a link to one article about Chris Del Bosco: For ski cross racer Del Bosco, new sport offered a fresh start - USATODAY.com

Hi all. Just wanted to add my two bits here about Chris Del Bosco. I read an article his sister had written about him and this is what it says...
Chris was found holding on for dear life in a freezing creek bed in the dead of winter. He had been attacked and left to fend for himself in the freezing water. He was badly beaten and had a broken neck. By the grace of God, someone heard his weak plea for help. When he was pulled from the water, his body temperature was 29 C. Anyone else would not have survived. Chris had major neck surgery and thankfully his physical wounds healed.
Just wanted to correct the above. He was drinking at the time but that wasn't the reason he fell into the creek bed. Just wanted to say...there's a reason for everything. Most people would not have survived... Stirly
