Dunno, I've been there. Thank God you're here again. There easily could have been a jogger on the roadside, a child, a dog, even. The one time I did something similar, someone called the Sheriff, so as I sat stranded by the road, here come the blue lights, and a DUI. That was a horrible lesson, my car was torn up, but I DIDN'T HURT ANYONE!!

Dunno - There but for the grace of God go so many of us!!!! I think of times that I had not business driving. Lately I have been avoiding situations in which alcohol would be available and I would have to drive any distance. More worried about the embarrassment of a DUI!! The angels truly were on your shoulder that night. I am so glad that you are well and moving forward. I am on day 3 so we can pull each other along!!!!Comment

Like Ruby says we've all done stupid things and thankfully or in my case miracullously have survived! I try to use those awful times as my armoury when the little voice tells me to have a drink, and I remember what it felt like then and the decision is easy

OMG Dunno...I am so thankful you are ok....play this movie over and over in head from start to finish next time you want to drink if you are serious about quitting.....I have not wrecked or had DUI's but I have back into my mailbox more than once....I love my family more than alcohol.:h

Hi Dunno,
When i first passed my test i wouldnt so much as drink a drop and drive.The last few years ive found myself drinking way more than i should and then driving.And each time i say never again,but this time i mean it.Alot of us have been in your situation and are here for you.Comment
