    A Small Step

    Hi All

Last night I said 1 bottle between hubby and me (wine that is). We had 1 bottle of red - had smaller amounts in the glass and it lasted 2 1/2 hours. Normally we would have finished our second bottle and may even be onto a third. Off to bed with a mug of hot chocolate.

Yes a small step but moving in the right direction. So pleased I have found this site, feeling more confident that I can win this battle that at any time in the past few years.

    Have a good day. x

      Hi Quit Quittin,

Just wrote on your other post as well.

Are you planning on moderating or going AF?

      Keep posting
      AF since 15th March 2010

The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

            Thanx all of you

Not so good last night. So good knowing I have all of you around me. My plan is eventually to go AF and enjoy spending my money on a new slimmer me. I just do not want to drink anymore. Off to a party tonight and hubby's birthday Sunday so a tough few days ahead.
