Permalinks

Does anyone know how to use the Permalink feature that is in the top right corner of every post? there is a post in another forum that I'd like to put up in our forum as I found it very interesting and enlightening. I suppose I could just copy and paste it but there are some responses that are good too.

Yes, the Permalink sign, if you click on it, opens up a message to the Forum Moderator that allows you to send a quick message to them that something is amiss with what is going on.

I have used it in the past when there has been harrassment or just plain hateful posts going on.

I have absolutely no idea why it is called "Permalink."

PS Okay, can't answer your other question. There are ways to put "stickies" on certain threads but I have never done it, nor tried to do it.
