Here goes day 5 - My Achilles heel!

    Hi All

Made four days AF yet again - have to say those four days are a lot easier to do. Even went to the pub last night and had J20 while hubby had 2 pints of lager.

I know once I make my first week I will want to make it two and then three and on we go. I am making it over half of the week so I now have the smaller portion to get through.

So this is day one of the remaining three, and I can already go four.

OK I am rambling on a bit now.

Thanx MWO and its members for being there.

Well done QQ,i but i dont know whether it's a good idea for you to be going to pubs so early in your sobriety battle,Can you or your husband together not go somewhere different, like a movie or a walk, anything to pass in an hour or two,When i started this journey i stayed away from all social events for the first 3 months, its not as daunting as you think and it will open you up to see there is a awfull lot more out there than pubs & clubs etc.:-) but well done anyway wishing you the best.

QQ - J20 in the pub, that would be very novel for me; well done, great choice
As you say you are over the half way mark to notch up a week under your belt - like looking at the glass half full rather than half empty! Good on you.

well done qq. 5 days was my aim. i did it and so can you... and more. i agree with mario. going to the pub is a huge temptation. im still avoiding any triggers like that after 2 months. bieng sober is the most important thing to me right now and im just not putting myself in a place of temptation. well done again and keep up the good work
Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine
