Enjoy weekend number 4! Well done. I'm on weekend number 2 and woke up feeling awesome this morning... Wasn't hungover at my kids swimming lessons/dancing lessons/footy and scraping through the day.

Way to go! I'm going into weekend 3. 15 days AF. Fridays have been the toughest days for me so far. Thankfully each one has been getting easier.

Well done K9!! IT feels great, doesn't it?!! To the many more weekends to come !
                AF since 15th March 2010

The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

                  Weekend #8

Where does the time go? Flies by when you're having fun! I cannot believe I am actually heading into weekend number 8. I have never, ever gone this long without drinking before. I'm happy to say that I hardly even think about it anymore. I just wanted to post this for all the newbies so they realize that it CAN be done, and please don't get discouraged if it doesn't happen right away. Give it time, be patient, and don't be too hard on yourself. Focus on what you really want, and nothing will get in your way. Thanks to all my friend here on MWO who have been so supportive. I couldn't have done it without you!
