    Gosh....we have so many threads here it;s hard to keep up....but this one is special to me.....not much to say this morning...just hello to my "gang"

    Hey howzit mama and the rest of you!!

    We have a public holiday here today (Freedom Day) so relaxing at home with my family. Luving it.

    Just posted a link to an awesome clip on youtube in the What we believe section. Check it out.

    Met an old mate for a cup of coffee for lunch today and told him that I have serious drinking issues and had decided to call it a day 2 months ago. It was such a great feeling to tell him. He padded me on the back (not literally) and thought it was fantastic. Good to see that not all ppl will condemn you when you come out with the truth.

    Hope you all have a stunner of a day.!!

    The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

      Actually it hasn't been two months. it's 44 days. I'm losing count. I could have sworn Sunday marked 8 weeks. argh...

        All good here. Just got in from a concert so my ears are still ringing and I am still wide awake. It's not going to be easy getting to sleep tonight!

          Mama, any word on the job??? Johnny, are you still taking the Antabuse? I think that you are, but WOW, what success you are having! Im so thrilled for you!!!

          Wow Mama, I never imagined everyone would get so riled up on the 30 day challenge thing. Im spurred on by everyone else, so of course, I cant fail!

          Its good, I guess Im ready for a challenge like this.

                    Hey Overit.

                    I'm off the Antabuse. I feel that I have the right recipe going at the moment keeping myself busy and distracted and spending a lot of time around my christian friends. Steel sharpens steel they say. So I feel as long as I souround myself with ppl who will encourage me and not tempt me into drinking, etc. i'm doing ok.

                    If I see the temptation is getting to big again I will start taking again (hopefully not too late )

                    btw. just stoped taking a couple of days ago. my initial prescription was up and it was also a financial consideration.
