K-9, you deserve MORE than a treat. If I could mail you a brand new ferarri, it would still not be enough of what you deserve Its so good to hear of your happiness and the great time with your girl. I think thats so cute she has a "crush" on a drummer. Oh, to be young again! Just make sure you tell her boys in bands and usually not good, LOL! Your doing amazing, we are all so proud of you.

Now, for the rest of us! I think we need to follow K-9 right back into that darn pool! KTAB, get your man kini on and Ringing, lets get it on! Im serious here folks, its time to dive right back in!!!!

P.S. And K-9, I think you are ready to date (?) Your a beautiful girl, and you have your act together. Maybe you should just try a little or at least make a new male friend. Perhaps you might meet somebody at church? Heck, maybe I am not even ready to date, but I do enjoy the company of a male now and then. Its nice and a growing experience. I do suggest that you look for non drinkers. The person I have been dating briefly does not drink, and its been a great experience, my first time dating a non drink too, a whole new world opens up

Thanks for all of your kind words I do sort of have my eye on someone at church, but the poor guy is so shy, I'd probably scare him half to death! LOL

Why has the pool been so empty lately? Where is everyone?? Y'all need to get back in, KTAB's been hard at work getting it ready for us! On that note, I have my eyes peeled for KTAB in his man-kini!

K-9 Thanks for making me smile today. I did not have a good Monday like I had hoped, and feeling very blue over it today. I thought for sure I would walk away from the booze yesterday, but failed again. I am a bartendar on Mondays, and its just hard for me to walk away. Good news is Mondays will be out as of next week. My job closes on Mondays over the summer to keep costs down, so at least that Monday temptation will not exist anymore. Every little bit helps!

So... Yeah! Time for us all to get wet again (LOL that sounded, well never mind!)

Oh, and the guy at church? Go for it! He is probably shy because he thinks you are too beautiful or good for him

Sorry your Monday wasn't as good as planned...I know how tough it can be! Good news is you're right back here where you belong! I can't even imagine being a bartender and being surrounded by all that temptation...so hats off to you for doing as well as you do!

So do you have a plan for being AF tonight? When I first started this journey (many, many moons ago) I hit so many bumps in the road. I don't know what finally "clicked", but something did and I started taking Antabuse. Are you taking any medications or anything?

Hang in there and start over today ok? Maybe you should call up your AF guy and see if he'd like to get together again...you never know where that might lead!

p.s. I think we're the only ones in the pool right now...I hear an echo.

Hey K-9, Thank you for being concerned. I appreciate it. I am not an everyday drinker, and I never have been. The day after drinking, I cannot even go near alcohol, it repulses me to much. There is no chance that I would drink today. My doctor wrote on his notes about me as an "Episodic Drinker" so I guess I have episodes now and then with drinking. The circle goes round and round.

I have a full bottle of Antabuse that has never been opened in my cupboard. I often think how nice it would be to just be on it. Even while reaching for a drink at times I have said to myself, "Now if I was on Antabuse, I could not do this"

Its encouraging to hear of your huge success with it. I have read of many other having success too. I cannot take it today with alcohol in my system, but I think very soon I will just go for it too. I may need alot of support in the beginning with it, but I know you guys are here, so that is huge comfort!

And to be honest K-9, the guy I am dating would never tolerate a drinker. If something were to develop with him I would have to get it together and quick, or simply lose him.

Hey Ringing,

You mean you are drinking now or recovering from yesterday? Dont feel bad, I have been recovering all day from my tango with a bottle of vodka. Yep! Dumb Dumb Dumb Me!!!!

Been Super bummed out today, Gee wonder why? Whats even worse is I took out my calendar from last year, and surprise surprise, the patterns just never end!

Im SERIOUSLY thinking my way out is going to be popping that Antabuse pill. Others have huge success with it, so why cant I too? Its dramatic, but maybe thats what it takes to break the damn patterns I have myself locked into.
