No way I am drinking today. Not even a chance. Im weird. I do not like to drink the day after drinking. Alcohol right now makes me want to throw up! I sure wish it made me want to throw up all the time! Then it wouldnt tempt me bastard!
Yes ma'am. Remember the valley though, not that I'm on the mountain by any means. Going out dancing to night...me brave or stupid? Going with a friend who is taking this challenge with me though...she's committed....so think all will be well....gonna sing and dance to some oldies -- Frankie Vallie

I never get sick to my stomach either. I wouldn't usually drink after a binge night just because I said I would not allow it. Almost always have my wine in the house. I drank a bottle of wine almost every night for a few years before my latest trials and drinking escalation. Because I generally take very good care of myself one bottle was not a big impact on my performance and physical being....not that I want to go there again either.

Ok I'm rambling....really glad you're back in the pool and hope you stay here. :goodjob:

I plan to be wallowing most the day!
Just wondering like you if it was a hangover day? I love mental holidays!

To clarify my logic: if I drank 2 or three bottles in one night I wouldn't allow 2 or 3 nights to compensate or balance the over indulgence. Didn't say it was good logic...

It was so nice to turn the page to a fresh new month! My calendar looks so pretty with no big ugly red X on it.

Im gonna try for an AF MAY!!!! So yep! Watch out!!! CannonBalllll!!!!!!!

Have fun going out Dancing Ringing! Your braver than I am to go out and not drink!!

Overit - I do something similar with my calendar but in reverse, each AF day is marked with a 2009 has about 2 0r 3 a month, 2010 is full of

                    Thats Great Chillgirl!!

So your calendar has lots of for 2010? Awesome!

I used to do the for a non drinking day, but then switched to the ugly X. The ugly X reminds me of just how ugly drinking really is, and "seems" to be more effective for me.

I think it is VERY important to keep track and be accountable with this disease. That way you can watch for patterns, such as I noticed I would go 3 but hardly ever 4 days AF. Its also a good way to keep track of how many drinks as well.

Well Chillgirl... heres to a new month... You getting lots of

And me with no big ugly red X days!!!

Erm ... in news just in:

Sleeping man, 60, gets rude awakening in Darwin
                          • May 02, 2010 7:21AM
AN ELDERLY man had a rude awakening - literally - early yesterday when he found an intruder standing at the end of his bed wearing nothing but his birthday suit.

The 60-year-old man was unable to give police an exact description of the offender.
The nude home invader put on his clothes and fled the house within seconds of being caught in the act.

Territory police duty superintendent Dean Moloney said several units rushed to the house on Gardens Rd in The Gardens, Darwin, about 5.45am trying to find the offender.
But the naked intruder had vanished and was still on the run last night.
"We had a number of units attend the scene and search the area but were unable to locate him," he said.
Nothing was reported stolen - or left behind - during the invasion.

Senior Sergeant Moloney said the man had entered the house through the main door before sneaking into the bedroom.

"It appears that the offender has broken through the front door," he said.

"I believe the 60-year-old male leaves a security chain on the door, so the offender broke the chain. He has entered the victim's bedroom. The victim has woken up.
"The complainant yelled at the person of interest to leave ... and the offender has gone out to the balcony - dressed and left the area.
"It was over and done with by the time he even rang the police.

                          ------

KTAB??????? Did you sneak into Oz last night?
