    Day 7 AF Today!

    Made it through a week! Have not been sober for a week in many, many years. Cliche? but everything does look a lot brighter outside today and it is raining. With all the plants blossoming, grass greening up and trees budding, it is looking like spring. A new beginning...and it truly feels like it.
    The number One reason I have enjoyed my sobriety so much this past week would be that I am a much calmer person today than 7 days ago and I feel peace inside.
    Thank you everyone at MWO for your support and inspiring stories to help me through.:thanks:

                  Day 7 AF Today!

                  :yougo::yougo:Congratulations on a Sober Week!!!!:yougo::yougo:

                  I too love the peaceful feeling that sobriety brings. Nothing to feel guilty or remorseful about - at least not related to AL. And for me, that was about 99.99999% of guilt and remorse! It will just keep getting better.

                    Day 7 AF Today!

                    DG, until i came here, no one mentioned the feelings of peace and freedom from getting away from AL. less anxoious, less depressed, less worried..... just free. of course i knew all the crap that AL causes but somehow i had missed out on this one. im so happy i am sober and so grateful to everyone here
                    Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine
