          Day 31 for me. Not easy but not hard either. I feel like my brain turned itself back on last week. Feeling very sharp! I even finished the LA Times crossword puzzle - a first!

            I'd like to join you to Katie. I have 6 days today so it will be a 36 day challenge for me Tommorow will be tough because I'm a bartender and for some reason I seem to throw it all away on Saturdays.

              I'm in Katie, I'm on day 7 and fairly new, I am worried about potential pitfalls but with everyone's support we will all have a better chance of success. One day at a time Blues. You can do it, I admire your courage, just think of Saturday as a day like any other, or even make some really positive plans for Sunday which might help you look beyond Saturday night

                    techie, I know you can keep passing (not out, just passing tests...).
                    I think we develop a relationship with people on these threads even though we really don't know each other. One person's struggle and eventual success ripples through the group and helps everyone be stronger. Stay strong, techie, I am counting on you!

                      Thanks Prancy. I'm going through some Father's Day angst. My 14 y/o daughter is still rejecting me. I'll stay strong. It's too important to do otherwise!

                          First, happy Father's Day.
                          Second 14 year old daughters OFTEN reject their fathers regardless of what is happening. They also reject their mothers. You could be a saint and be rejected by a teenager.
                          Keep on with your commitment to sobriety and keep sending loving messages her way. she will come around.
