    As far as being an alcoholic being selfish, I TOTALLY agree.

    The times I rushed home so I could drink, therefore denying my child (and myself) the joy of being around friends and family. Hurrying through Back to School Night so I could go home and drink. Saying NO to invitations for dinner because I'd rather skip eating and just drink my dinner. Missing evening activities because I couldn't drive after 7:00pm.

    Selfish, selfish. Glad I'm learning from my mistakes.

      No problem Mama. That's just how I looked at. I realized while drinking all I worried about was myself,what I wanted, what I thought I desrved. Didn't look at the people around me. That's not me at all. So now I'm trying to correct those actions.

      Hey RC and K9 glad to see both here today. Not as fun as it has been but we'll get back to it.

        Lets lighten things up a bit.

        This is a pic of my tattoo, goes from right hand side of P word up into my tummy and was murder getting it done coz I am quite slim so the hipbone was sore..

        Anyway..I used to look somewhat like this back in the day lol...
        The blue teddy represents my past (I had a blue teddy when I was a kid and he saw me thru thick and thin, thru all the fighting, squalor, drunkeness and screaming. I still have him albeit battered and worn.There are millions of tears soaked into that fur!! lol)

        The scroll represents my future and how I will get my degree in psychology and counselling so I can help kids who have shitty childhoods.....


        I am still quite bruised in the pic..

        I plan on adding on to it very soon...

            Nice! I like that. I have a similar type of girl on my left arm that says trouble under it. LOL. No I'm not trouble I've always had trouble with girls,as you're aware of from this post. I'll take a pic and post it up later.

                Oh and the worst tattoo I ever got was my hands. Got em both done at the sametime and they swelled up like you wouldn't believe. Skins not to thick on the top of the hands.

                        Wow what a tattoo Oney! I love the personal meaning to it.

                        I wanted to get 2 little stars on my wrist to represent my kids but don't think I'm brave enough. The Sun newspaper did a top 10 of funny tattoos once, there were some mental ones but the winner was some guy with Elmer Fudd on his butt cheek pointing his gun at the guy's a**hole with the caption "I thought I saw a wabbit" :H

                          LOL that sounds like a classic one! Alright here's the ones Oney wanted to see. Not the best photos but I'm not a proffesional by any means. And the tats are around 8 to 10 years old.







                          I guess the only similar thing with my girl and Oney's is the hair style. Oh and the cross on my right hand is a surfer's cross from the 60's. Since skating and surfing are so similar I got it to protect myself from injury....hasn't really worked or maybe it has. My injuries could have been worse! Oh and yes I have saftey pins tattooed on my right arm.

                            As your resident Mary Kay lady, I will say that it appears you found out the hard way that the skin on the backs of your hands is as sensitive as the skin around your eyes. OUCH!!!

                              LOL!!! Yeah it seem I find out a lot of things the hard way. I can tell you the elbow isn't very fun either. Imagine hitting your funny bone for 8 hours. And I did all that sober, won't tattoo people who are drunk. They bleed to much.

                                Gosh I go to work again, and this place blows up AGAIN! LOL. Guess ill spend the next 30 minutes checking it out so I dont feel left out!
