Who here feels great without a hangover??
Well this is my second Saturday morning without a hangover for a long long time and it feels fantastic. That poison has not touched my lips for 2 weeks now. After reading Allen Carr's book titled "The easy way to stop drinking" has made it alot easier for me to completly stop AL. Yes, I can honestly say with confidence that I am now a non drinker. I know what your thinking, it's only been 2 weeks but it's just something in me that knows that I won't touch that poison anymore. After 32 years of getting absolutly drunk twice a week, making an idiot of myself, saying stupid things, throwing up, slowly killing myself etc, etc. (I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about) it just feels great. Yes the thought crosses my mind sometimes, but I can easily control it and in time it will completly diminish. My mind is basically still in habit mode. I recomend this book to anybody who is seriously wanting to quit AL. If you read it, it gives you a complete different look at AL and how it's basically a devistating poison that ruins everyones lives. "SO WHO HERE FEELS GREAT WITHOUT A HANGOVER"??? :H :H :HTags: None

Matho great to hear from you again. I feel fantastic. My hangovers would last two days completely shutting me down. I rarely ever went the 'hair of the dog' route unless I was on a business trip. So I suffered with them swearing it was the last time. One I felt better I got drunk again. It is GREAT to be off that seesaw. Keep up the progress and keep in touch more often...JohnOutside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

Shall do John. I'm feeling energetic and looking forward to the day. Something that hasn't happened for a long time. I can relate to the hangovers lasting 2 days. As you get older they seemed to last longer and longer.

Yeh! I feel great too. Day 9 AF for me! Im on my second read of the Allen Carr book. I read it and stopped drinking for 5 weeks then had a blip and now back on track. It really does change your perception of alcohol and is a great read. No more poision, No more hangovers:lilangel:
