    Wife of an alcoholic

Hi I am back again it has been almost 30 days since my husband had a drink,
but the sad part is I think its too late but I have faith in god that he won't take him from me he has less then 10% of liver left so he needs a transplant. He is home and with high spirits thank god he has to go on a list but has to be sober for 6 months first. he takes his meds for the water that he retains and folic acid, B12 and a diet anything else that will help my darling husband.

    Thank you Jeannie

hi jeannie, sometimes there are words that cant be spoken,i remember a gentleman in a AA group i use to attend, when he drank,he was a horrible man,but he also said he was not the victim,he pulled a picture of his wife out,he remarked how sad and beat up she looked, the person with the alchohol problem is not the only victim,,how are you coping, and i do hope it works out for you and your man gyco

                    Oh, and Jeannie,
Are you aware of 'Al-anon'. I think it's a support group for people with partner's, family, or friend's suffering alcohol abuse issues. It may be associated with Alcoholic's Anonymous, but i'm not sure. Maybe other's here could clarify this.
Anyway, should be in the phone book.

                    Best wishes, Greg.
