Hi, I've been lurking a little while and think I've found a whole lot of souls much like my own . It's Sunday night where I am ( Toronto ) and once more I'm regreting the stupid things I said and did this weekend. I do get some solace reading your posts and knowing that I'm not alone out here. Thank you so much !:new:Tags: None

Hello LE,
You are not alone. The world, as big is it is, is fuller of a HUGE group of us who are in various stages of overcoming alcohol and refraining from its abuse. Welcome. I look forward to hearing more from you.AF since May 6, 2010

Hi Linda. Welcome. You will find there are lots of us who have been where you are now. I know too well that feeling of shame and frustration of saying and doing things while drunk. We are here to help and support you with your journey to an alcohol free life. It is not easy but if you are willing to give it all you've got, we will be here to help you along the way. Read the book, get the supplements and CD's and post here as often as you need to. It does work.
HippyI finally got it!

Hi Linda and welcome. I know so well, how you are feeling - the morning after. Life without alcohol is free of those mornings that is for sure. I am not sure if you are looking to moderate, go alcohol free (af) or just discuss how you are feeling. Let us know. I am also from Ontario, so it's nice to chat with another Canuck. All the best,
HillSober since Feb 7, 2010.

Welcome Linda!
You are definitely NOT alone, and you've found a great place to share your experience and gain insight from others who have been where you are. Oh those "mornings after"....man did I have A LOT of those where I woke up with dread, shame, embarrassment and guilt! I never, ever want to experiece that again. And you don't have to either! Just hang in there and let us help you along the way. Again, Welcome! We look forward to getting to know you!
