    Morning Odaters!!!

Amber, please do feel free to start this thread

Long day ahead at work today before the soccer madness starts here in SA from tomorrow. It'll be a time for me of challenges non stop. Never done a sober World Cup before and will be sourounded by lots of booze at the fan festivals, etc. Keep me in prayers, won't you?!!

Hope you all have a stunning day!!! And take it ODAT.

    AF since 15th March 2010

The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

              Advice?

Day 4 on the way, and I feel extremely good. Energy galore... My only fear is that it is going too well? From almost 750ml of vodka a day to nothing, and I am not shaking? I sleep like a log? I am very aware of not getting too confident! How are the othe "Day 4-babies" doing? ODAT!!!!

                  Good morning everyone

Well done Amber and Panno on Day 4, keep going. It gets easier once you are on a roll.

Good luck with the world cup Johnny, enjoy sans alcohol.

Dull morning here. Off to do my second run of the day. One daughter is doing exams and the other is doing a course. Hope to get my walk in when I get back.

Have a great day all to come.

Back to square one. Hangover and feel so fed up. I bought the supplements yesterday and started reading the stop drinking book, read all the positive posts and then drank alcohol.
As my husband is just a social drinker we always have it around and he does not think I have a problem so will not get it out of the house.
Will try again today but I wonder if looking at the site here is making me more preoccupied with the booze?
I will leave the hopeful sign up as no matter how angry I am with myself I am still hopeful that I can and will do this.

Hey guys and girl. Well, today is like day 37 for me i think. It's great bein sober actually. Once you get it into your head that you're not depriving yourself of somethin good, that's when the click will happen. Its hard. F@ckin hard. But, it's worth it. And the way you feel and the way you sleep just shows how much your body was screamin out for a break i love this site. It really help me. I love the people i've met. We will all be fine just as long as we keep comin online and keep bein conscious of what we're doin and how we're feelin. Best of luck ano. Best of luck to us all. I hope and believe that God will deliver us from evil. Just ask and he listens and answers Hava great day everyone

Anon, you can do it. Just get straight back on the wagon...

Remember tonight how miserable you felt this morning!

                              Morning ODATer's,

Thanks for starting us out Johnny, I will pray you make it through the soccer cup ok!

Hi Panno, Amber, Diz, AM I forgetting anyone??? Oh Rustop

Anon, I TOTALLY understand what you said about this website sometimes makes you preoccupied with booze. I have felt that way sometimes as well, but it sure beats having the support here than to have NO support. I could never leave MWO anyways, I have too many people I care about on here now. I have realized it always has and always will boil down to ME and where I am at in my head regarding the booze.

Im back on my diet pills, which make me cracked-out, and when a Co worker verbally attacked me yesterday, I found myself having a couple of glasses of wine to chill out. Just a couple, nothing major so Im not going to freak out over it. Dont feel bad if you did not make it to day 4, your not alone.

Amber, I am especially amazed at your progress! Go girl!
I LOVE MY SEROTONIN AND BOOZE SCREWS IT UP!!!!!
