Tonight is a bad night

2nd day and having tremendous anxiety. Cold Sweats and having irrational thoughts. Is this normal for withdrawal? I feel like hell ans cannot sleep. My wife is trying everything but it is not working.

Change you can get through this.

You're going through hell but it WILL get better soon. Try and focus on the fact that soon you will be back to normal and will have gotten through one of the most difficult things. Just think of the strength, self- confidence and knew life perspective you will gain from this experience - there are positives.

One bad day at work is no big deal in the scheme of things. And you're NOT going to die tonight.

I Tried Calms Forte Lat night and it didn't seem to help me sleep. I was up all night sweating with my mind running away from me. Any other suggestions? I do have a prescription for Ativan. Has anyone used Ativan?

Just posting to let you know i had a horrible night last night too.First night.Those cold sweats are a killer.How long does it take to get back on track-----sleepwise?I'm dreading bedtime already an it's only 3pm!!!!!

I made a huge mistake this weekend while black out drunk. I wont get into detail but this is what caused me to quit. The problem is that the thoughts are Haunting me every day. I only remember very little. This in combination with withdrawal is a killer.

I'm hoping and praying that things will clear up after 3 days.
