Friday 7 15 am Day 9. Never been AF for this long as far as I can remember. Still feeling great. My blood pressure has gone down to normal levels which is an added bonus and may help keep me on task.

Good morning everyone. Day 23 for me also a long time since got this far. Well done to all in your progress. Still struggling a bit but determined to keep going one day at a time. AA helps me with this i'm going to a meeting this evening at 8.30 it also gets me out and meeting people with the same problem... staying af one day odat. Have a good friday.:butterfly::sun::bee:

Hey there Anon, Molly, Firefox and Chillgirl - you are all doing incredibly well and I am learning from your strength... Big it up for you all. I am on Day 4 ( I'm not going to say 'only on Day 4 because for me 4 days is the longest since i can remember- and i have a good memory!!)
But I must say right at this very moment on a Friday night I am having a bit of a struggle.. but even if I wanted to (mmm kinda do) I have no access to alcohol of any sort so that helps, its not like I can drive to a bottle shop... unless I do the 45min drive to the border during a storm. Hah no the alcohol has been defeated for another day. That one day at a time thing is really helping me such a lot.. such a simple concept but I had never really thought like that and now I am.. Wow its great. So tomorrow I will wake up feeling fresh I hope - despite having a few sleep problems now but hey if thats the price I pay - I will willingly pay for a few bags under the eyes!!!

I think it is great that we are doing so well in spite of our addiction. I wonder when it will get much easier. It is not as hard as it was but it is still a struggle.

I have to admit. I had 2 drinks after work last night. But, its still a hangover free sunrise for me. 2 drinks is better than 10!!
