Desperate in South America

My hubs started out on this as if it was HIS problem and that it was all about him somehow. As we moved along and went thro a few crises he has stopped being confrontational - I'm not sure if he got advice from someone but his change of attitude has made so much difference. Up till recently I sort of felt I was doing all this for him and his happiness - he has now backed off completely and just keeps telling me how wonderful I am!! Now it is about me, I am doing this for me and the positive feelings it has given me are fantastic.
What everyone here says is sooooo true, it has to be you and you alone who wants this - talk to your wife, Nottonight is right, she prob is desperate, but it won't work I think?!
