    ODAT Wed 14th July 2010

    Hey everyone,
Day 26 AF for me today, though I bought a packet of cigs an hour ago so back to square one with cigs! - but its better than buying AL - i have just been under too much stress and my counsellor is on holiday for a month, as i really need to come up with some strategies for coping with stress..
I hope everyone has a great AF "hump" day..

Hi Katie.. great on 26.. I'm a day behind but doing well on the AF - i'm still on the cigs too for the same reason as you - think for me its a bit early to slay both beasts but I know I will be ready soon so I'm not being hard on myself about it.
    A fab day to all

      Hi Katie & Patrice

Katie......naaaaaaaaa don't worry about those ciggies, when the stress levels drop you will work out the perfect time to quit. When the time is right you will know and you will have greater chance of winning.

I can't believe how close you are to your 30 day goal. You really are my inspiration at the moment, I am only a few steps behind you.

      Have a great one! x

Good job to all of you! I'm starting day 7 today. EXHAUSTED this morning. Woke up thinking I drank last night night I was so foggy. I'm hoping to quit the cigs next. Which smoking for me now is quite a bit less since I'm not drinking. Hopefully I can tackle that next. But the "no alcohol" is in the front seat with me now....much more important.

        Have a fantastic day!

Haha Skye - the ol brain playin tricks on you! I've had the drinking dreams too, I think most people have! Go easy on yourself - not condoning smoking but another few weeks won't make much difference and you'll feel more confidant and stronger with the booze issue.
          Have a nice day

            Happy Hump Day everyone!

Good to see everyone hanging in there!

I survived the Disney Trip! Boy, not for the faint of heart Ill tell ya. Between all the money spent, the HEAT, the Lines and the ungrateful kid, managed to have a good time, LOL!

Seriously, we had a pretty good time, and I drove like a pro all the way there and back (I get driving anxiety).

Like I said before, If I was drinking, I could never pull off a trip like this. Im glad to still be going strong with sobriety.

Hope everyone has a great and sober day. Katie 30 days just around the corner for you!

                  Hi everyone

So many success stories here, it does me good to read. Nothing beats waking up AF, I have to keep reminding myself of that. Happy hump day everyone.
