An email from my ex (very recent) boyfriend

Thank you all so much for your kind words and support. He didn't seem to think I a fat b**** when we were together or that my place was s****y and stinky. He's hurting me so bad. He doesn't drink (or do drugs) so he was sober when he wrote that.

I came in late to work this morning because I had to take my cat for a re-check at the vet. She has been having seizures. While I was at the vet, this message came through from him....

"What?s the matter, too much alcohol last night? Or your cat got another seizure? What?s the excuse today, hangover sucks, don?t they?"

Done sober!?!? Well then he is just a asshole. Get away from him and cut all ties. Seems like a bit of a psycho if he just gets his kicks sending you angry messages. I know you work with him but do your best to avoid him. No one should be treated that way.

          Jewels,
I agree with chillgirl - do not read any more of his messages! I have blocked my ex from contacting me at all.. you seriously need to get this guy out of your life.. if he isn't supporting you, you don't need it! We all have problems, we all have made mistakes.. you are human - don't believe anything this guy tells you, he doesn't understand and he is not worthy of you.. you deserve respect and love.. if you are suffering with low self-esteem (which many of us with AL issues are) - have you thought of seeing a counsellor? Mine has worked wonders, though i still have a way to go with therapy.. but you really must remove any toxic people out of your life NOW!!

Jewels I may be wrong but it feels like you are still mentally tied to him and dont know how to break away. I know it's hard but the way he is responding to this breakup is really ugly and it's not helping you to recover.

Please listen and read up on any advice that you get from this post. You need to break away from him as FAST as possible. His words are very destructive! You say that he is sober so I am assuming that this is who he is when angry. Just makes me think that he has been mentally pounding at you for a long time?

I was married to a guy like that once. He was very controlling and liked it when I cried. he was cruel. I cant believe that I thought this way good for me. Plus the break up drove me to near suicide. After that experience I promised myself that I will love myself more.

You will get alot of love and support from this forum. Some great people here..Please PM me if you want to chat. Sending you a big hug. x

              Jewels,
Please set your phone to block his texts and set your email to block his. Then take what you've got from him and go to HR. He is harrassing you and what he is doing is illegal as he has now brought work into the mix. Yes, you may be out of a job for doing so. Not fair I know but it's the way corporate life works. You can fight that action but if you're lucky, it will be him who gets let go. He is toxic and there is no way he was nice to you when you were together. This is a very sick and angry person and probably a bit dangerous so if you can get out of that environment please do so. It could be the best thing that has happened to you. You are a human being and deserve to be treated with respect at the very least. Please get help dealing with this so that your sobriety is not compromised.

              Hugs, PM3

                  (((((((Jewels,)))))))

What kind of noncyber support do you have in your life (friends, family, church, whatever)? Do you have someplace to go this weekend to get some emotional safety, not to mention actual love, free from Skippy McPoxfecker's verbal diarrhea? Do you have someone to share this with nearby who can protect and support you?

Please do a search on a local therapist covered by your insurance plan that has expertise with abusive relationships (have no doubt, that what this guy's doing). Explain the situation and get an appointment within the week. Open a public chat with me ANYTIME you see me online if you need to talk!

Oh hunni, I know this sounds horrible but I'm glad you found out what a piece of crap he is so you didn't have to waste anymore of your life, time and love on him. Anyone who would say that isn't worth wasting your tears or feelings on. He sent you that to make you feel worthless, to make you hate yourself. I know it's hurt you and it's only natural it will. You know what will hurt him... Get dressed up in your best clothes, put your makeup on, do your hair and nails, look great and go to work with a huge smile on your face. I know your dying inside right now but fake that you're doing great, that you're happy and that will kill him. It'll also make you feel good about yourself and you'll get your confidence back. In theean time, we're all here for you but don't let him see that it's got to you or he's getting thevreacyion he wants. You also must without doubt bloke him from emailing you, change your phone number, do notvread any letters he send you and bloke him from your life! You deserve better!!!!
