Well, I've made to 6 weeks sober.........Wow what a feeling. so far so good, but still having the urge to drink once in a while. And to everybody who told me to dump the excess booze from the b-day party I did it. Man that was painful dumping 10 beers and giving away another 18. But it was worth it. And to everybody else stay strong and we can all get through this struggle together.

Well done INH, fantastic! Also, don't know about you but I remember when I was in a really black place with my drinking, pouring a bottle of whiskey down a sink cos I knew if I woke up to it I was never going to start on this route - it stayed in my head sort of symbolically, just had a good effect - so:goodjob:
