    :new Hi I',m new here. I'm from Oz (Australia) I realy need help to stop my drinking. I know I have to be abstinent. I had a slip after 8 days sober. thx pp

    Welcome McScruff. Half the battle is NEEDING to stop drinkin - you know it so you're half way there!! Put the slip behind you now, what has happened can't be helped. You know you can do it so do it again ( not the slip!!!)

      Welcome McScruff. I'm only on day 8 myself but this site has been brilliant for me. Stay in touch here and you will get some wonderful advice,i know i did.

        :wecome: McScruff. Today is a new day. Stopping drinking is not easy but for me, it has been worth is as the rewards have been immense. I have my life back and all the possibilities that come with it! Have you read the My Way Out book yet? Have you made a sobriety plan? Those are things I strongly suggest.

            Welcome McScruff. Just keep working at it. Putting a plan together as DG mentioned is key. Keep posting here. We would like to get to know you better. I wish you luck and offer you my support!
