Beginning my day five today...evenings are a bit rocky, but the jubilant feeling I have in the morning is making this worthwhile, presently. I know that the longer I stick this out, the less difficult it will become...I'm grateful to all the supportive people here! :h

Thank you so much for your kind words John....it has taken me a while to actually be able to type...I couldnt see the keyboard for tears.
You are all such wonderful people on here!!! I am gonna stick to you all like glue.
I absolutely HATE HATE HATE AL with all my heart....yet the thought of giving it up forever scares the life out of me....
Well at least I am safe for tonight....the wine/spirit shop is now closed. I only have to make it to 6pm daily and then I have no option but to not drink.
Thanks again for your support....

Thought For Day 13
Greatness within you
There is greatness within you. Let that greatness shine.
You know for a fact that you are special. Use this day to bring that unique beauty and value to life.
Every situation is an opportunity to make a difference in your own special way. In every moment you can bring new richness to life.
No matter what your job or circumstances may be, there is always plenty of valuable work to be done. You can find great joy and fulfillment by doing what you can with what you have to make the world a better place.
Take a small step forward right now, and see how good it feels. Take another step, and another, and be delighted at how much you accomplish.
Feel the greatness that lives within you. Let that greatness freely flow into every part of your world.Outside of a dog a book is mans best friend. Inside of a dog its too dark to read

When you project that out it seems undo-able. When you take it as a daily "today" objective it is much more manageable. I can DO THIS TODAY. Right now is the only important thing.

TECHIE'S 30 DAY CLEAN SOBER CHALLENGE
All's well here. Have been thinking about next weekend with feelings of deprivation. It is the Labour Day weekend in Canada. ( Also funny how the reverse can happen when you pat yourself on the back for progress. It allows the voice inside to say.."see, you are doing great, you will be fine now." And that may be right, but I am not willing to find out at this point. I am feeling better than I have in several years.
Wishing you all a great and sober day!!
