TECHIE'S 30 DAY CLEAN SOBER CHALLENGE

Hi I hope everyone is doing well. I had a rather challenging day. Basically it sucked. Let me share some highlights with you:

5:30 AM: Up hit the shower but NO HOT WATER
5:45 " ": Coffee maker will not start
      6:00 " ": Called Taxi for 6:20 p/u (my car is in auto-body repair)
Meanwhile Techie doesn't realize he has his navy blue pinstripe suit jacket on w/navy blue slacks sans stripes. He has 9AM presentation.
7:30 " ": Techie spills a quad venti caf? mocha on slacks sans stripes.
      Note (it was painful too!)
      9:00 " " : Client calls to reschedule meeting.
9:30 " " : Techie heads to Barneys to buy suit & leaves blackberry in dressing room. He recovers phone and p/u altered suit at 11:15. Techie has mojo back.
4:15 PM: Techie walking to Grand Central people laughing at him. Not that unusual but the intensity made Techie suspect. Techie has suit label still attached to right sleeve of new suit. Thinking he might find solace in a double Ketel One on the rocks, he decides to board the 4:25 where his is now....clackety-clack...clackety-clack.

I don't think that link expressed this directly: MCT's enable the body to metabolize fat efficiently, therefore dieters, weight lifters and athletes find coconut oil beneficial. Great source of energy!

I am so sorry about your bad day! I applaud your sense of humor about it. Hmmm....tag on the suit jacket. Will have to start calling you "Minnie Techie" ala Minnie Pearl. (does anyone remember her or am I dating myself????)

Your story about the stripes and solids reminded me of a funny board room story. I used to find a comfortable pair of pumps then buy them in every color - black, navy, brown, etc. One day I had a big presentation in front of the CEO and other high execs of my company. I looked down - we were already in the bored oops I mean board room and OMG I had on a black and a navy. What a distraction trying to present! I feel your pain my friend. I will confess that my day was not nearly as bad as yours though. :H

                    831 is almost over.

Hello everyone. Just checking in. I had a much better day today. My only complaint (we all need one) is the damn heat. It is so hot in New York today the trees are whistling for dogs. I hope everyone is well and living the clean and sober life. I'm planning on a long bike ride this evening, but will see how I feel when home. The humidity is fairly oppressive!
